Rachel's Piano Lessons Piano lessons taught in a fun learning environment. Certified teacher with more than 20 years experience. Piano has always been a huge part of my life.

I started taking lessons when I was five and continued lessons through college. I have over 15 years of experience teaching piano - and I love it!! I studied piano at Illinois College and recently (2010) received my Master's of Education and Illinois teaching certificate. I currently teach more than 20 students a week ranging in age from 6 - 68. Each student has a private half hour lesson once a w

eek and many participate in group lessons which are held every few months. During group, we have a theory lesson, play games, perform for our peers, and have a really good time!! Students also participate in a spring recital. My focus is to have students learn while having fun. We play lots of games and do "off the bench" activities each week to keep lessons fun and to keep students totally engaged.
