Lakeridge Class of ’80,

Our hope is this finds you all safe and healthy, either staying home or providing essential services. These are crazy times. Today it was announced here in Portland by a major private event planner that all their events in the area have been cancelled through the end of 2020. The reasons for this are pretty simple, public health and the economy, and the uncertainty that surround both of these topics today.

So with all that is going on in our world it is best that we just postpone our reunion for a while, make it a “41st” reunion! It just seems right that we eliminate this variable from our collective lives at this time and take care of ourselves, our families, and each other the best way we can.

See you all in 2021! Stay safe and healthy in the meantime.

Just before George H W Bush joined the ticket as VP w/ Ronald Reagan, he visited Lakeridge High School, shaking hands with those who showed up in the Rotunda. He was the first real politician I remember seeing "in person!"
