You guys...simply the best information I have heard to date on what we know currently about covid 19. I was literally cheering in my car like a crazy person over the simple info shared. Of course we need to do the basics - masks, washing hands, social distancing we’ve all been hearing about it for months. BUT we can also work to build our immune systems the good old fashioned way - good nutrition, moving the body, getting good sleep, and reducing stress. Why aren’t we focusing on that too? As always I’m here for you for your health and wellness journey. Together we can all do something today to improve our health. Cheers!

Anybody else loving this book? Today’s chapter was negativity - the task to write down every time you have a negative thought and try to reduce them to zero. Did you know negative thoughts can weaken your immune system? Just another example of how our bodies and mind are connected.

Morning routines....my husband and I were joking the other day that if we did every morning routine out there our day would start at noon. For me my morning routine starts with movement - typically a 4 mile run during the summer. What are your morning routines??

Miracle of all miracles....baby is sleeping (first nap), boys are sleeping (teenagers) and mama is reading a book uninterrupted. I guess I’m adulting because these quiet moments never felt so good!

And....exhale...
I don’t know about you guys but 2020 has been full of ups and downs and sometimes I don’t even realize what I’m feeling until I get into nature and inviting a little bit of quiet. Always reminding myself to focus on what’s in control and letting go of what’s not. Easier said than done!!
For me maintaining a healthy lifestyle focused on movement, nature and quality food choices helps set me up the best I can to navigate whatever is around the next bend. What works for you? I’d love to help you succeed on your healthy journey.
