There’s something special about the excitement that comes with the start of a new school year! 🍎📚

This week, we had the privilege of joining Lake Havasu Unified School District #1’s New Teacher Orientation to welcome the incredible educators who are beginning their journey with the district.

One of the K-12 Foundation’s favorite traditions is sponsoring a welcome lunch and giving away prizes as a small way to show our appreciation and let these new teachers know they have a community cheering them on from day one.

SPONSORSHIP OPPORTUNITY!!
We’re excited to announce the 20th Annual Taste of Havasu fundraiser, happening Thursday October 22, 2026, from 4:30 PM to 7 PM at Sara Park Rodeo Grounds!
Tickets will go on sale a few weeks before the event but today we are inviting businesses to become a Sponsor to help support this event!
This annual event is 100% volunteer run and every restaurant participating graciously donates their time and delicious food samples to make this a success.

🌟 By being a Sponsor - every dollar raised goes right back to the schools, teachers and students in the Lake Havasu School District. Your company logo will appear on all printed material, banner displayed at the event, social media recognition and recognition the night of the event.

Presented by the K-12 Foundation for the LHUSD, (a 501c3 organization) this annual event is the only fundraiser that supports our mission to promote excellence in public education by supporting the students, faculty, and staff of the district through program enrichment.

The K-12 Foundation celebtrated their annual Academic Recognition Banquet. There were 24 Students recognized for earning the highest level of honor, Summa Cum Laude . There were 30 Recognized Educators who were nominated by these students for making an impact on their lives and school career. Each of these graduating students have an exciting future and we wish them all the best. Congratulations to the students, educators and families!
