Mrs. Mosley and Mrs. Charette’s science classes have spent the last few days scaling down the solar system and computing all kinds of equivalent ratios.

This morning, students took their scaled planet down stairs to model in real life! If the sun was scaled down to 48”, Mercury would be 0.17” and our earth would be 0.44”! It was clear to see the vast space between the inner four planets and the outer four planets🤍💜🤍💜

Starline Elementary is so excited to welcome our grandparents and special guests for a special day celebrating the love, wisdom, and joy they bring to our students! We can’t wait to make some wonderful memories together. 💜
