ATTN: Sachem Teachers and Administrators ... This year's Sachem Educational Foundation grant cycle is officially open! These grants fund projects that directly benefit Sachem students.

Thank you to everyone who supported the Sachem Education Foundation this year. We raised $17,500 that will benefit Sachem students and programs during the 26-27 school year.

The fundraising milestone brings the Foundation's total giving capacity to $42,500 since efforts began in 2025, further advancing its mission of supporting innovative educational opportunities throughout the Sachem Central School District.

Building on that momentum, the Foundation is preparing to launch its next grant cycle. The 2026-27 Educational Grant Application Process will open in June, with applications being accepted through Aug. 1.

The Foundation's review committee will evaluate submissions throughout the summer with the goal of finalizing selections and allocating funding by the fall.

Thank you to the people and organizations who supported our second annual Sachem Education Foundation Gala.

Every dollar raised will go directly toward grants that enrich Sachem programming for our students K–12. The grant application process will open in May.

🏆 This year's Sachem Education Foundation Alumni Excellence Honorees are Matthew Riss and Mark Ciaburri, co-founders of Redefine Meals.

Riss and Ciaburri, both 2014 Sachem North graduates and teammates on the soccer field, built a strong foundation rooted in discipline, accountability, and consistency, values that continue to drive the business today. Their connection to the Sachem community isn’t just where they’re from; it’s a core part of the company’s identity.

They will be recognized at the second annual Sachem Education Foundation Gala on Wednesday, April 15, 2026.
