Hello LGCS Families,
Thank you so much for your flexibility, patience, and adaptability as we worked through some recent facility concerns. We truly appreciate your support and understanding as we navigated those unexpected bumps. I am happy to share that our facility concerns have been fully resolved, and everything is now running beautifully. We are excited to finish the school year strong and look forward to seeing everyone for our final week together. As a reminder, here are some of our big events coming up:

Monday • 4th Grade Field Trip • Preschool Graduation in the afternoon

Tuesday • LGCS Board Meeting

Wednesday • High School Field Trip • Elementary and Middle School Field Day • Elementary Spring Program at 6:30 PM

Thursday • Half Day and Last Day of School • Awards Celebration begins at 11:00 AM • Lunch will be served • Student release at 12:30 PM

Let’s make this final week a great one as we celebrate all that our students and staff have accomplished this year.

SCHOOL CLOSED MAY 14
Dear Families,
Due to the recent weather conditions and power outages, our facility systems have experienced unexpected strain. We have been informed that portions of the system were overloaded and require time to “rest” and recover properly.
As a result, Lake George Charter School will be closed on Thursday, May 14. Regular school operations are expected to resume on Monday as scheduled.
Elementary students will not have a remote learning day tomorrow and will instead have the day off.
Additionally, the Elementary performance has been rescheduled to next Wednesday at 6:30 PM. More details and reminders will be sent as we get closer.
Please know we are actively working with our facilities and water system representatives to address these issues and monitor the situation closely. We appreciate your patience, flexibility, and understanding while we work to ensure our campus systems are operating safely and reliably.
We will continue to provide updates as needed, including during upcoming Board Meetings, which are available to watch live on YouTube.
