We're beginning an exciting new partnership with the Tigerwoods Learning Lab Anaheim and recently provided its instructors with hands-on experience using our Einstein’s Horizon Anatomy VR Learning Labs. This summer, the Learning Lab will pilot the program with students, bringing immersive VR learning into their classrooms for the first time.

We’re excited to see how both instructors and students respond to learning anatomy through interactive, immersive experiences that make science feel alive. The future of STEM education is becoming more engaging, visual and hands-on than ever before.

Teaching human anatomy in VR.
No textbooks alone. No memorizing flat diagrams. Just curiosity, exploration, and stepping inside the human body to learn by experience.

Today was about watching educators step into a new way of teaching and realizing how powerful learning can become when students can experience science instead of only memorizing it.

A special thank you to Tiger Woods Learning Center and to Madison McCarthy for bringing such energy and curiosity to our VR anatomy training session.

Every meaningful educational shift starts with teachers willing to learn something new first. Watching teachers become students again is honestly one of the most meaningful parts of this journey.

A huge thank you to the incredible teachers from Orange County high schools for participating in our workshop on immersive multimodal teaching and learning through virtual reality anatomy labs.

We are also deeply grateful to the UCI Science Project for organizing and supporting this event. It was inspiring to explore together how emerging technologies like VR can enhance student engagement, spatial understanding, and interactive learning in STEM education.

Excited for the future of immersive learning and the possibilities it brings to the classroom.

The moment , a UCI grad student, stepped inside the human heart for the first time—pure wonder.

This is what learning feels like now: “STOP… oh my gosh I can see the valves! wow… this is so cool.” :)

STEM Night in VR 🚀
Elementary students exploring anatomy with their own hands, guided by our virtual doctor, and discovering that science can be immersive, interactive, and exciting.

Showing children and parents how immersive, multimodal learning can make science both more engaging and more effective. Throughout history, people learned professions by doing. Later, widespread literacy made education scalable and more precise. Today, virtual reality brings these two worlds together—allowing students to learn by doing while maintaining scientific accuracy, all at a fraction of the cost of traditional laboratories. In this VR skeletal lab, individual skull bones can be lifted out by hand for closer examination, while a simple touch triggers explode views, labels, and guided audio explanations that help navigate the structure of the skull.

The broader goal is to transform how students experience science: activating multiple learning pathways at once through visual, spatial, auditory, and motor interaction to ensure faster and deeper learning. By bringing medical-grade anatomy labs into virtual reality, we can also help democratize access to high-quality scientific learning environments for students all around the world.

Grateful for the support of Ruby Tsang, my former student at UCI, who kindly sent this testimonial.

Seeing students grow, move into healthcare, and then circle back to encourage the next generation — that means everything. 🫀✨

Thank you, Ruby.

Today we brought our VR Anatomy Lab to Mission Viejo High School. Students explored the human body in full 3D and asked thoughtful questions about science and healthcare careers. Grateful for the opportunity to share what immersive learning can look like. Thank you .truong and !
