Food insecurity is rising. More local families are struggling to put healthy meals on the table. But together, we can change that.

Pack the Park isn’t just a run—it’s a movement.
A fun, family-friendly event where every step you take helps provide food and support to kids and families right here in our community.

Pack The Park 5k/Fun Run 2026 The Pack The Park 5k/Fun Run 2026 is on Saturday May 9, 2026.

If you’ve ever treated yourself (or your kids… or just yourself again 😬) to something from Swirl, here’s your chance to give a little love back.

The owners were recently in a serious car accident that landed them in the hospital. While they focus on recovery, their business is at risk—because as any small business owner knows, you don’t just hit pause for a few weeks without consequences.

I’ve lived this. Margins are tight, costs don’t stop, and shutting the doors for even a short time can be devastating.

So our Lake Forest Park community is stepping up.

Join us for dinner on April 15th and we’ll donate 25% of ALL sales to support Swirl and help keep their doors open while they heal.

Then swing by one of the Town Center’s newer spots, Always Summer, for something sweet—where a portion of their sales will also go toward the cause.
