🕊️The Zeta Psi Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. invites members to join us for the Ivy Beyond the Wall Ceremony honoring our beloved Golden Soror Pythina Brown. Forever in our hearts🩷💚

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Golden Soror Pythina “Pye” Brown, a treasured member of the Zeta Psi Omega Chapter.

Golden Soror Pye was a 61-year member of our chapter, serving faithfully in numerous leadership roles. Her wisdom, dedication, and unwavering commitment played a vital role in our chapter, and she exemplified extraordinary sisterly principles. In her honor, our chapter’s Soror of the Year Award proudly bears her name.

Affectionately known as the “recycled teenager,” a title she gave herself, Soror Pye brought energy and laughter to everything she did. She was always on the go, reminding us that joy is a form of service. Her youthful spirit and generous heart were a blessing to all who knew her.

Services will be held on Friday, May 22, 2026, at the location below. The Ivy Beyond the Wall service will begin at 10:15 am.
