Join us for a FREE, playful, connection-filled experience designed especially for parents and their little ones (curated for ages 0–3 years old, but anyone is welcome)! Sensory Playtime offers hands-on exploration, new sensory experiences, and opportunities to build meaningful connections through play. 💚

We're preparing fun activities for our next Sensory Playtime💜

🗓Tuesday, August 25th from 4:30-5:00 p.m. at the Central Library- Thielen Room (2nd floor) for children 0-3 years old (anyone is welcome!). This program is FREE to all attendees.

Fun Fact: You can teach your child about matching and colors during playtime🧠

At Sensory Playtime, this toddler practiced matching Sesame Street characters to sensory balls of different colors❤️💙

Even cooler? He got to practice this skill with a new mom and friend he met at playtime! At these young ages, learning and bonding happens with ease during play😄

When Playfully Connected was a brand-new nonprofit in October 2025, Gabby joined our very first Infant Bonding and Brain Building session with her then 3-week-old son, Rio💛 She had the opportunity to learn simple ways to play with Rio to support his developing brain while building a strong, loving bond🤗

Fast forward to Tuesday, when Gabby brought Rio and his big brother, Lennox, to Sensory Playtime! She shared that both kiddos had such a fun time playing and exploring🥰

And we absolutely loved seeing how much Rio has grown since joining us at that very first program!🥹

Stories like this are exactly why Playfully Connected exists. We hope to build a community where families can return again and again—bringing their children to programs throughout childhood while finding opportunities for fun, connection, and learning along the way💙

We’re so grateful to families like Gabby’s who have grown with us from the very beginning. We hope you’ll join us as we continue to grow, connect, and build something special for families in Southwest Louisiana😄

We had so much fun at Sensory Playtime yesterday😊

With 19 beautiful families and 24 kids, we got to have a blast playing with balls, shakers, pop-it’s, and more while singing some super fun songs! We loved seeing the kids have fun with their parents, the kids getting to play with each other, and parents getting to chat with their own friends and make new ones🫶🏼

We love helping kids and parents build a greater community for themselves🤗
