Pi Kappa Alpha finished the Spring 2026 semester with a 3.30 chapter GPA, earning the highest GPA among all IFC fraternities at McNeese.

Congratulations to our brothers whose hard work, discipline, and commitment in the classroom made this achievement possible. Being a Scholar is one of our four pillars, and academic excellence continues to be part of the standard.

Lambda Upsilon’s Brother of the Month for July is Aiden Gubancsik!

Aiden has made a strong impact through his involvement, work ethic, and commitment to everything he is a part of. He is a true go-getter who stays active across campus, serves in multiple organizations, and represents himself and Pi Kappa Alpha well everywhere he goes.

Outside of PIKE, Aiden is involved in Rowdy Riders, Cowboy Catholics, the Physical Medicine Society, Alpha Lambda Delta Honor Society, and serves as Director of Development for The Big Event. Through Rowdy Riders, his group has earned Best Group twice, and Aiden was also recognized as Best Rowdy Rider at one of the Cowboy Camps this month, showing the energy, involvement, and leadership he brings to everything he is a part of.

Aiden has been heavily involved in our recruitment efforts and is always willing to step up however he can. He is the kind of brother who shows up, works hard, and does things the right way.

13th Annual Ainsley’s Angels Sunset 5K 🪽🪽

A huge shoutout to our brothers who volunteered yesterday as Angel Pushers at this year’s Ainsley’s Angels Sunset 5K! Events like these remind us that being a Pike is about more than just college—it’s about serving others, giving back to our community, and making a lasting impact through philanthropy. We are grateful for the opportunity to help every athlete experience the excitement of crossing the finish line, and we’re proud to support an organization that embodies inclusion, determination, and community. Lambda Upsilon’s Brother of the Month for May is Eric Humphries!

Last semester, Eric served as our Health and Safety Chair and left the position better than he found it. Through his hard work and new ideas, including revising our existing handbook and strengthening the structure of the role, he helped set a stronger standard for the chapter.

Eric has now been elected as our Vice President of Membership Development, and we are excited to see the impact he will make through our new member program and continuing education for active members. He also serves as Assistant Recruitment Chair and has already done a great job helping prepare the chapter for a strong fall new member class.

More than anything, Biscuit is a true leader and someone the chapter can always count on. Whenever something needs to be done, he steps up, leads others, and makes sure it gets done the right way.

We’re proud to recognize Eric for his leadership, dedication, and commitment to Pi Kappa Alpha. Congratulations, Brother ! φφ

Lambda Upsilon’s Brother of the Month for April is Alex Montz!

As Vice President of Membership Development, Alex has done an outstanding job leading our Spring ’26 new member class and setting a high standard for what it means to be a Pike. Through his leadership and consistency, every man who was pinned in the Spring ’26 class stayed committed through the entire process and was successfully initiated, giving the chapter a 100% retention rate.

Alex has also been in charge of our socials this month and throughout the semester, and he has done a great job making sure they were well planned, ran smoothly, and had strong attendance. Beyond that, he has also helped with chapter responsibilities outside of regular operations and contributed to our year-end summary in a major way.

More than anything, Montz is the kind of brother who is always there when you need him. He is dependable, genuine, and always willing to help, which is what makes him not only a great friend, but also a true Pike. Congratulations, Brother .montz ! φφ
