I spent the morning hours editing a new YouTube video and laying out school clothes for my boys.

It’s less than a week until winter break!🎄⁣
⁣
I can’t wait to have 2 weeks off to spend relaxing with family + create more content for you all.

Sometimes I forget that there’s a whole world outside of work

For those of you who don’t know, the family and I flew up to Florida last weekend to enjoy Disney!

As you get to know me and for those of you guys who I’m currently supervising, I’m big on self care & boundaries.

“Leaving work at work” didn’t come easily did me but it’s the key to being able to social work for over a decade.

I have found that a lot of new social workers and people who I’ve worked with NEED that constant reminder

I get it…

But throughout this trip, one common theme that popped up was this…

Don’t get too busy making a living that you forget to work on making a life.

We need to do a BETTER job of putting ourselves higher on our own to do list.

So if you’re running on fumes or already burnt out, DM me and let’s see how we can find balance 💫

I’m Lauren! 🙋🏽‍♀️ I live in San Antonio TX (born and raised) with my HS sweetheart Jonathan and our sons, Jay & Gabe!

I’m obsessed with scrapbooking and a total social work nerd. 🤓 (I regret nothing more than when I forget to snap a pic of a great memory 📸) My favorite things are traveling with family, coffee, school social work, and style. This year I’m super excited to try my hand at teaching at the University of Texas + finishing the year with a family trip to Disney!

These days, I use my experience as a clinical social worker to help others reach their social work goals. I help LMSWs grow their clinical skills through supervision & support.

My top value in life is family- time & memories. And it’s been the HONOR of my life thus far that I have found a profession that has given me so much of that🙌🏼🤍
