This episode wasn’t supposed to exist.
I had already recorded the beginning of this new podcast. I had a plan. I thought I knew how Love, Trauma & Other Plot Twists would enter the world.
Then grief reached through the noise, took hold of everything I had been waiting to say and made waiting feel impossible.
So I turned on the microphone.
No intro.
No bumpers.
No edits.
No hiding the tears or steadying the tremble in my voice.
Just me—raw, real and speaking to every person who has ever wondered why they survived, whether their life has mattered or if anyone would notice how hard they were fighting to stay.
This is not an investigation into someone else’s life or death.
It is a cry into a world filled with people carrying pain we cannot see—and a promise that I will no longer wait until my story is polished, packaged or perfectly timed before using it to reach them.
If you are struggling, I hope this episode reminds you that you are seen, heard, known, loved, respected and valued.
If you love someone who is struggling, I hope it helps you listen for what their behavior may not know how to say.
And if you are still here after everything you have survived, I hope you will stay.
This Episode Was Not Supposed to Exist is available now on Love, Trauma & Other Plot Twists.
