The real 🚽 guide for the Springtime Surprise 10miler.

1. Hollywood Studios is your LAST REAL BATHROOM OPPORTUNITY. I beg of you, make the right life choices. The kind that don’t involve a porta potty. (Technically there are bathrooms in the last quarter mile-ish but at that point you’re at the end of the race).

2. No easily accessible bathrooms in the boardwalk area

3. Ive marked the bathrooms closest to the course that I believe will be open, but these are best guessed. Sometimes runners can go farther afield and sometimes there are closed bathrooms. I pin comments with updates as I get them.

Wasn’t sure if I was going to be able to make these, but here we are! The 🚽 guide to the springtime surprise 10k. Because real bathrooms are one of the best perks of a runDisney race 😅.

1. There are no easily accessible bathrooms in the boardwalk resort area.

2. I’ve marked the bathrooms that are close to the course and should be open, but this is always my best guess. I pin comments from runners who have updates - so check those!

3. The first real bathroom typically has the longest line.

4. Norway has the best bathroom in world showcase with the COLDEST AC. I said what I said.

Josh D’Amaro is officially the new CEO of Disney!

Dana also got a promotion. She is now CCO (Chief Creative Officer) and President. Previous presidents include Iger (under Eisner), Frank Wells, and Walt Disney himself.

Looks like they’re going with a countries from the world show case vibe. Aristocrats for France, Caballeros for Mexico, Mary Poppins for England (RIP the cherry tree lane we never got), and Grump for Germany.

Pridelands doesn’t get enough hype. Start to finish, everything about this restaurant was 10/10. The vocal talent, the visuals, the food…Disney finally cracked the code for this restaurant format.

Aboard the Wish, this show format is Frozen themed. I found it to be loud, overwhelming, and a bit like I was trying to inhale food between the show’s story beats. Still full with Olaf and crew, but a lot to take in.

In contrast, the show for Pridelands has none of those issues. The show kicked off in iconic style, but many of the segments were enjoyable as a backdrop to the dinner. The dance scenes with the light were beautiful, the songs easy to follow along with, and overall the mix of show and dinning felt well paced and balanced.

As someone who ran the Disney marathon in 2022 and listened to Hakuna Matata for 3 miles straight outside of animal kingdom, this went a long ways towards healing some of that trauma 🤣. First time I’ve enjoyed that song in YEARS.
