is getting better every day.

Simple habits will lead to more consistency. I'd say his habits are getting more and more simple.

Today we worked on lowering set point a little bit.

You can see his setpoint on the left is a little higher and therefore has less potential energy built up. After making the adjustment he made the comments, "I feel like just pumped steroids into my jumpshot" and "it's like my shot just took an energy drink or something."

Sometimes little adjustments can make a BIG difference.

We focused on bringing the ball closer to the body at the start of the shot process. It made a big difference in terms of connection and energy throughout the shot.

I think is going to surprise a lot of people this season with his improved jumper.

Becoming a better shooter is probably a lot more tedious and boring then you'd hope...changing habits simply takes a lot of time and mental effort. No getting around that. 🤷🏻‍♂️

If you're willing to do the work though, you give yourself a chance to improve at the most valuable skill, in my opinion, in the game of basketball.

Using a dribble to help understand how the transfer of energy throughout his shot should feel.

The idea is to try not to let the ball lose any of its energy throughout the shot.

The game has a "speed." You may be "nice" playing at your own speed but if it doesn't match the speed of the game, it won't carry over. What could have been an open look, you won't even be able to get off.

Work on becoming as efficient as possible with your movements to increase your chances of opportunity and success.
