It hasn’t even been a year since Moureen started learning piano, and she has already built a strong foundation — enough to feel free to explore the music she loves! ❤️ Pieces we may have once thought, “Maybe someday…”
Well, someday is here! 😊

One of my favorite things is seeing a student become genuinely excited about a piece they’ve chosen for themselves.
Ellie has been working on building her speed and control over the past several months, and this energetic piece gives her the perfect opportunity to push those skills further!🤩
She starts with a smile… and finishes with an even bigger one😁
Progress is even more rewarding when you’re having fun along the way!🎶

I love the way Myles added his own little twist to the Dinosaurs Stomp, making it even catchier and giving the piece a personality of its own. 😄

🎹 Exploring Chopin with Alyssa✨️

This beautiful, melancholic Prelude by Chopin is teaching us how to make a melody feel alive and moving forward, even when it contains only a few notes. We’re exploring how to shape repeated chords in the background so they support the melody rather than compete with it, while maintaining the quiet, reflective mood of the piece.
These are the details that transform simply playing the notes into making music. 🎶✨

A happy melody, wow in a major key can sound sad... and a gentle melody can sound harsh if it's played with a different touch.
Cade's goal in this performance is to draw the listener into the dreamlike, peaceful world of "Almost Like a Dream."
