What is Bespoke?
Bespoke is the process of making a custom garment. From design to final piece the process is tailored exclusively to the client's desires and needs. Therefore it takes a very special kind of designer who can put their own vision in a perfect match to the client's vision. Also the process requires time and willingness to keep an open mind. Having a designer's guidance in the custom process is invaluable as only a designer will be prepared to make decisions about which fabrics that best suit the design as well as how to work with it. We usually go through 3 to 4 fittings sometimes if we are creating from 0 or adjusting designs to new ones. No matter how similar the design might be to something already made, it is very important to keep in mind that some changes can affect the overall fit. It is good to know about this before going into the process. That is why an experienced an honest designer is key. If you have been looking for that perfect dress that would fit you like a glove and also be in the right fabric and color for you and for you alone then the Bespoke process might be just what you are looking for.

The making of a beautiful dress. Sometimes we just let the fabric tell us what it wants to do. As a designer is important to "listen" to the fabric. This is beautiful embroidered tulle I got for one of my private clients. It just drapes on the body like a charm!
