We stand with the Ukraine, as a Jewish Russian Ukrainian my family immigrated to the United States back in the early 1900’s and on both side of my family and yes we are also Jewish. While I am a proud American I’m appalled and mortified at what transpired yesterday. I generally do not post on social media and specifically about politics and this may anger people but I don’t care, the United States is going to be on the wrong side of this and something needs to change before it’s too late to go back. 🇺🇦

On Veterans Day I remember my grandfather Samuel Kanter who served in WWII and stormed the beach at Normandy, he was an ammunition’s specialist and also served as a translator this photo was taken of him while over seas with his jeep Miss America. Today we honor him he was an amazing grandfather and wonderful father and we are so grateful for his service and all of those that serve to protect our freedoms💫
