Collegebound students are going to need to need up-to-date and strategic advice on their essays this fall with the new Affirmative Action ruling. Especially those who are minorities.

The new "rules" could not be more confusing or come at a worse time--the admissions "season" is about to kick into high gear.

I'm so excited to announce that I will be holding college application essay writing workshops this summer in my hometown of Laguna Beach, CA. 🔥 🔥🔥

Students will learn how to craft narrative style, slice-of-life essays that will help them stand out from the competition. I will step them through my brainstorming exercises to identify unique topics, and help them map out their personal statements and self edit their work.

The workshops will be held at the Laguna Beach Cultural Arts Center in downtown Laguna, each one over two days, Mondays and Wednesdays. They are available during most weeks in June and July.
