The UVMS Spiritwear Store is officially open for the 2026-2027 school year!

Welcome to all of our new sixth-grade students and families! This is the perfect opportunity to grab some UVMS gear and start showing your school pride. Welcome back to our seventh and eighth graders! Time to refresh your wardrobe.

The store will be open through September 27. All orders will be delivered to students through their backpacks during the week of October 13.

As our time serving as the UVMS PTA President (Cristine), Vice President (Gena), and Secretary (Carol) comes to a close, we would like to sincerely thank everyone for your support, kindness, and dedication throughout the last two years. It has been an honor to serve this wonderful school community.

A warm welcome to our new PTA Board! We wish you a successful and rewarding year ahead. While my term as President has ended, I look forward to continuing to serve as the Spiritwear Coordinator.

Thank you to everyone who attended our May PTA Meeting on Wednesday! If you were unable to join us, please take a few minutes to review the presentation slides for important end-of-year information, including special events, the Honor Key Breakfast, 8th Grade Dance, and Graduation details.

Good morning UVMS 8th grade families,

I wanted to send some updated information about our end of the year events for 8th grade students and families:

The last 8th grade trip opportunity is Splashdown. The firm deadline for handing in the Splashdown permission slip and payment is tomorrow, Friday, May 8th.

8th Grade Dance: Our 8th grade dance will be held on Friday, June 12th at Union Vale Middle School, from 6pm-8pm. Tickets will go on sale the week before the dance, and will cost $10. Food and drinks will be included!

Recognition Night (our 8th grade moving up ceremony): Monday, June 22 at 6pm at the High School. Families will receive tickets in the mail for this event in mid May. Only individuals with tickets will be allowed to attend. Tickets will be mailed home in the next two weeks. After you receive your tickets, you may call the building to request being placed on a waitlist for additional tickets. For planning purposes, we are unable to accommodate more than 1 or 2 additional tickets, and not all requests can be filled.
Please know that every person attending must have a ticket in order to be admitted. Children over the age of 1 require a ticket, and cannot be accommodated sitting on laps. There is a maximum capacity in the high school auditorium, and we intend to maintain the appropriate number of audience members to remain in compliance. We will have a link for the LiveStream of this event available.
