🏆💵 BATTLE OF THE BILLS — FINAL RESULTS! 💵🏆

And that’s a wrap! While we didn’t quite reach our school-wide goal, our UVMS families still came through in a BIG way, raising nearly $1,200 to help support student activities this year! 🎉

A huge THANK YOU to every family who participated and helped make this fundraiser a success. Your support gives the PTA the opportunity to provide fun activities and memorable experiences for our students all year long! ❤️💛

And now…the moment you’ve all been waiting for… 👀

🥇 8th Grade — 39,438 points
🥈 7th Grade — 30,987 points
🥉 6th Grade — 11,993 points

After a slow start, 8th Grade surged ahead late in the game and managed to hang on for the win despite a valiant comeback effort from the 7th graders! 💪💰

As for 6th Grade…they apparently decided to save their energy for next year. 😉

After factoring in all cash and online donations as of moments ago, the current standings are . . .

8th: 29,938 points
7th: 25,987 points
6th: 11,993 points

7th grade is less than $40 away from the lead! 6th grade has a bigger gap to overcome being $180 behind 8th, but anything could happen!

Total raised is $1,023.85 of our $1,500 goal! Thank you to everyone who has supported our students and PTA!

🚨 BATTLE OF THE BILLS UPDATE! 🚨

After leading the battle from the start, the 7th graders took a HUGE hit today when $106 in quarters landed in their bucket—costing them a jaw-dropping 10,600 points! 🪙💥

That opened the door for the 8th graders—two-time champions who won as 6th and 7th graders—to charge into 1st PLACE with a strong showing of online and cash contributions! 🏆🔥

Will the 8th graders pull off the THREE-PEAT? Or will the 6th or 7th graders stage a comeback?! 👀

Welcome back to all of our UVMS families, teachers, and staff! Please consider becoming a member of our PTA. Your membership helps to support programming and events all year long. For example, our sixth graders will be receiving ice pops from the PTA on 9/14 to welcome them to the building!
