This week, our 7th and 8th grade Lakers spent a morning making a difference! Students volunteered with Feed My Starving Children, working together to pack meals that will be delivered to children and families around the world.

We’re proud of our students for giving their time, energy, and hearts to help others.

With Indiana's new cell phone law keeping students off their phones for the school day, the Lakeland Primary School gifted Lakeland Jr/Sr High School card games for the lunch room.
We love this sweet (and funny) gesture of looking out for our students!

Laker Nation mourns the passing of Vicki Brown, a dedicated driver and custodian for Lakeland School Corporation. In Vicki's career, she helped make Lakeland a better place. She will be dearly missed. Please keep the Brown family in your thoughts during this difficult time.

Second Day Update at Lakeland Intermediate School
New students and teachers to LIS were sorted into their houses! LIS is proud to have four houses, each representing an important value:

Windmere — The House of Wisdom
Tempestwake — The House of Courage
Silverharbor — The House of Loyalty
Crestfall — The House of Integrity

Students scratched off a special card to reveal their house placement, making the moment even more exciting! The gymnasium was electric as we welcomed new students and 3rd graders into the LIS community and watch the excitement as they discovered their new HOUSE!

Officer Carlos is eager to welcome students back to school this Thursday! Due to construction, Lakeland Jr/Sr High School has a new main entrance! For the next few years, guests and tardy students should use Door 20 across from the tennis courts. This entrance goes directly to the Main Office and replaces the Door 1 entrance.
