Our PTO has kicked off its FIRST fundraiser of the year, and this one is going to be FUN! 🎉

From September 30–October 6, students will have the opportunity to purchase a temporary tattoo and choose the teacher or staff member they want to wear it! 😆🎨 Who will end up with the most tattoos?! 👀

💚 $1 – Small Tattoo
💛 $3 – Medium Tattoo
💚 $5 – Large Tattoo

Tattoos can be purchased through SchoolCash Online from September 30–October 6.

Every purchase helps support our PTO as they work to support our students, teachers, staff, and school community. We can’t wait to see our Lafayette Elementary family have some fun for a great cause!

🎉 CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR 2026–2027 LAFAYETTE ELEMENTARY TEACHERS OF THE YEAR! 🎉

Today, we are incredibly proud to celebrate two outstanding educators who represent the heart of Lafayette Elementary! 🦁💚💛

🍎 Teacher of the Year
🌟 New Teacher of the Year

These honors are about so much more than what happens during a lesson. They recognize educators who show up for children, build meaningful relationships, encourage growth, create welcoming classrooms, and pour their hearts into making a difference every single day.

Teaching is a work of the heart, and we are grateful for educators who remind our students that they are seen, valued, capable, and loved. The impact of a great teacher reaches far beyond the classroom—and often lasts a lifetime. ❤️

To our honorees: your dedication, passion, and commitment to our Lions do not go unnoticed. We are so proud to have you as part of the Lafayette Elementary family, and we celebrate this well-deserved recognition with you! 💐👏🏾

Please help us shower our Teacher of the Year and New Teacher of the Year with congratulations! 🎊

💚💛 We are LES. We are family. We ROAR together! 🦁

🎶 Learning is music to our ears at Lafayette Elementary! 💚💛🦁

Our Lions were fully engaged in music class as they practiced reading rhythms, recognizing musical notes, and creating beats together! 🥁🎵 We love seeing our students learn through hands-on activities that encourage collaboration, creativity, and FUN!

They weren’t just learning about music—they were making it come alive! 🎼✨

Keep learning, creating, and letting your talents ROAR, Lions! 🦁💚💛

🌟 Tuesday Morning Motivator! 🌟

We kicked off Tuesday morning with a little extra encouragement for our Lions! 🦁💚💛 Our Morning Motivators were on campus greeting students, sharing smiles, and sending them into the school day with positive words and encouragement.

Sometimes a simple smile, high five, or “You’ve got this!” is just what a student needs to start the day strong! ❤️

A huge THANK YOU to our Morning Motivators for showing up for our students and helping make their morning a little brighter. We love seeing our community support our Lions! 🦁✨
