The Elusive Emergency Fund

Start with a $1000 emergency fund and EVENTUALLY save 3-6 months of living expenses.

Does this seem like a goal that's not achievable to you?

This is a topic I've been thinking about lately. In know the path to debt freedom can be a long and arduous one. Trust me, I've lived through that journey.

There are 7 basic steps to getting to a life of debt freedom.

Step 1: Save $1,000 In An Emergency Fund
Step 2: Pay Off All Debt With The Debt Snowball (except for the house)
Step 3: Save 3 To 6 Months Expenses In Savings
Step 4: Invest for Retirement
Step 5: Fund College for the Kids
Step 6: Pay Off Your Home Early
Step 7: Build More Wealth and Give

I am in the middle of Steps 4-5.

I don't know about you, but in the beginning of my journey Steps 1 through 3 seemed impossible. Saving a $1000 emergency fund can even seem like a mountain too big to climb. I eventually made it.

What if there was a way to drastically accelerate those first 3 steps?

I'm working on a product to help you do just that. I need your help to make sure it's the right product.

I know your time is valuable so I'll keep it short.

Leave me a comment below and answer these 4 questions.

1. Which of the 1st three steps are you on?
2. If you could wave a magic wand and achieve your current step to debt freedom what would it mean to you? How would this make you feel? (Please be specific and paint a picture)
3. What are your biggest frustrations/roadblocks when it comes to achieving step 1, 2 or 3?
4. What pain would be solved if you achieved step 1, 2 or 3 today?

Thanks and I look forward to hearing from you!
