The lasting effects of growing up in an art supply store, frame shop, & gallery are still evident in my current work. I’m not bogged down by limiting myself to one subject, style, or medium, although watercolors and acrylics are at the top of my list. I teach watercolor, acrylic painting, drawing, & illustration and I also encourage my students to find what they are passionate about and follow that, while at the same time experimenting with different things. Regardless of my subject matter or medium, I find it essential to include dramatic light and shadow in all of my paintings. — Derek Gundy

I’m drawn to creating paintings that give viewers contradicting feelings. Bright, candy-coloured palettes draw you in, while the imagery hints at something darker beneath the surface. I’ve always painted in a slightly surreal style, building my own universe that comes from my imagination. Creating a world that exists somewhere between reality and dream. - Megan Majewski

Silvia Trad | Watercolor Artist I could tell you how light the brush from Silver Brush Limited is, how it creates beautiful gestures and flows naturally during the painting process.
The balance, the softness, the way it responds to every movement of the hand… it all makes painting feel effortless.
But honestly, I don’t even need to say much. The images speak for themselves.
Just follow along and watch how it moves in this watercolor. 🎨
Acompanhe comigo enquanto utilizo ele nesta aquarela. 🎨

Daily Painting: Why You Should Paint Everything Every Single Day 🎨✨
Painting every day is not just a habit. It is a relaxed way to enjoy your art and feel good. Here are three simple benefits that might get you picking up your brushes.
1. You fall in love with your brushes again. That early excitement comes back strong. Every stroke feels fun instead of stressful. Your tools start feeling like good old friends.
2. Your skills improve faster than you expect. Regular practice really adds up. You will see cleaner lines, nicer color mixes, stronger ideas, and more confidence in just a few weeks.
3. It turns into great stress relief and fresh creativity. Painting daily helps clear your mind, keeps you present, and makes ordinary things feel inspiring. You begin noticing beauty all around you.
Paint the coffee mug on your desk. Paint the view from your window. Paint your lunch. Just paint something every single day.
