For More Power have Spaghetti Arms
🍝
Golfers are always looking for more power, and somehow that usually translates into trying harder with their arms.
Unfortunately, the harder you try to hit with your arms, the tighter they become — and tight muscles don’t move very fast.
So try this little experiment. Stand upright with your arms completely relaxed and hanging at your sides. Now, without intentionally moving your arms, start turning your body from side to side.

What happens?

Your arms start flopping around all by themselves. You didn’t make them swing. Your body moved, and your relaxed arms responded. That is the feeling I want in your golf swing.

I call them spaghetti arms. 🍝

Your arms already know how to respond to the turning motion of your body. As your body rotates, your relaxed arms and the golf club naturally want to travel around you.
You don’t have to manufacture that motion by pulling, lifting or throwing the club with your hands.

And where does the original energy come from?

The ground!!!

Newton’s Third Law tells us that for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction. When you apply force into the ground through your feet, the ground applies force back into you. Your legs and hips use that energy to help rotate your body, your torso turns, and your relaxed arms and club come along for the ride. Learn more Think of the sequence as:

Ground → Legs → Hips → Body → Spaghetti Arms → Club

Not: HANDS!!! HIT THE BALL!!! 😆

The golf swing already creates plenty of speed when we stop interfering with it. So next time you practice, soften your grip, relax your shoulders, let those arms feel like cooked spaghetti, and turn your body.

Your arms already know how to swing.

Let them!!!

One of the biggest reasons golfers top the ball is a shortened swing radius.
For many men, it happens because they rush the transition and tighten their arms trying to "hit" the ball.
For many women, the subconscious pulls the arms away from the ground as the club approaches impact, causing the club to rise.
Different causes...same result.
Relax your arms, trust the club, and let it swing to the bottom naturally.
⚡ Safety Reminder: If you hear thunder, leave the golf course immediately. Lightning can strike long before the rain arrives.
Have a great week and play safe!

Golf Tip🏌🏻‍♀️
The Ball Isn’t Going Anywhere!

So many golfers rush.

Take one more second.

Pick your target.

Take one good breath.

Then swing.

The ball has been sitting there waiting for you… it’ll wait one more second.

⛳ Golf Tip of the Week
Don't panic if the greens have been aerated and sanded—they're getting healthier, not worse! Aeration relieves soil compaction, improves drainage, and helps create smoother, healthier putting surfaces for the months ahead.
Until they recover, make it fun! Challenge your foursome to a "No 3-Putt Rule." 🤗
🚨 Golf Cart Safety Reminder: Please keep your feet and legs inside the golf cart while it's moving. I've recently heard of several golfers suffering serious ankle injuries after a foot caught a curb. It's an easy injury to prevent.
📸 Calling all golfers! I'd love to feature your golf photos in future posts and newsletters. Whether it's a beautiful sunrise, your favorite hole, wildlife on the course, or a special golf memory, send it my way—you might be featured next!

⛳ Golf Tip of the Week
One of the biggest mistakes golfers make is second-guessing their club selection.
Your first decision is usually based on what you saw and what you know about your game. When you change your mind at the last second, doubt creeps into your swing.
Pick the club. Commit to the shot. Trust your decision.
Golf rewards commitment far more often than indecision.

⛳ Golf Tip: Yesterday's Swing Stayed Home🙃
Stop comparing today's swing to last week's round. Some days you'll hit it great, some days you won't.
The secret is learning to play the game you have today, not the one you wish you had.
Golf is a game of adjustment, not perfection.
