Repairing the drainage issues causing this driveway to a pre-school washing out every winter. We put in a French drain to catch the incoming water, piped it under the road, and diverted it to a better location. Quick grading of the driveway to slope all the water away before it washes anymore out, and a fresh layer of compacted gravel. In and out in 2 days. The pre-schoolers were super entertained as well.

Reeves Middle School gets an upgrade to their woodshop program. The metal building will provide extra storage for lumber and projects so the shop class has more room to work and learn. The class also got to learn about making concrete forms square and calculating yardage. As a carpenter, it’s awesome when you get to do projects that help the upcoming generation learn. That blue door just poops.

Not real active on our social media account, because we are out swinging hammers, laying concrete and digging holes instead.

Just wrapping up framing on a 3,000 sq ft engineered log cabin in Bucoda WA. This has been a monster of a project so thank you to everyone patiently waiting for us to jump on your project.

If you live on low bank water front sometimes your yard can be a soupy mess. In this case we build a 20’x30’ deck to provide some year round dry ground and replaced the dock in the same foot print of the original. The deck and dock are at different heights so we built a couple ramps into the design. Finished off with a stainless steel cable railing down one side for a little extra safety.

Puget Sound Naval Shipyard - Burwell pedestrian gate. Otter GC was the framing and security fence subcontractor on this work for the Navy. The project is nearing the end of phase 1 and the turnstile gates will be moved over to the large opening in this building. Update photos will be posted as phase 2 begins.

Replacing some old rotten LP lap siding with new Hardie lap siding.
We also did some water intrusion repairs around areas where the old siding was leaking. Getting the house all sealed up before the winter rains start.

After yesterday's storm it looks like a good day to push work to the side for some community service.

Repairing fire damage to a home. Stripped the entire interior down to bare framing and floor. Removed the roofing and trusses. Now it's time to rebuild.
