Hey Rosland community, Mrs. Nicks and our 4th grade students here! 🥰 Our class has started a movement called the Rocket Boosters Club. Their goal is to "boost" Rosland Elementary to be the most safe, kind, happy place it can be.

One way they want to boost the school is by purchasing more playground equipment for both indoor & outdoor recesses, so students can have more fun and play together during those times! They've surveyed the school and gathered information about what our students want to play with. Based on those results, we made an Amazon wishlist!

They also interviewed teachers and asked what they might need for their classrooms. Some teacher wishlist items are included on the Amazon wishlist as well.

We're hoping to clear the wishlist and surprise all the students at Rosland with some awesome new equipment, and teachers with things they want!

Please consider donating or buying something on the list! Another great way you can support us is to like, comment, and share this video so we can get our message out to the community and find some donations.

Thank you for helping us boost our school! 🎒✨🚀

Next week is Teacher Appreciation Week, and we are excited to celebrate the incredible staff at Rosland Elementary.

We are inviting donations of snacks and beverages to help keep our teachers energized throughout the week. While contributions are completely optional, they are greatly appreciated.

Suggested items include chips, snack bars, pretzels, sodas, sweet treats, sparkling water, flavored or hydration drink packets, sports drinks, coffee, and similar items.
Items can be dropped off at the front office.

Thank you for helping us recognize and support our dedicated teachers!

We had a lot of fun and learning at Rosland last week that we didn’t get around to sharing!

•On April 1st, we had some fun the first 20 minutes of the day and switched some of our staff members around to play a prank on our kids. They had a blast!

•The Sunriver-La Pine Rotary Club came by to deliver brand new books to our 1st graders! They do this yearly, and the joy from our students that they get to take their books home is so fun to watch!

•We wrapped up our week with our monthly assembly! We recognized students who have shown resilience.

These spring months get busy, but we are so proud of the growth our students have been making. We have a lot more fun in store too! 🚀

The 5th graders have been working hard on creating roller coasters! They got to show them off to some of the first graders last week. Their planning, building, and success was really impressive to watch! Way to go 5th grade!!! 🎢
