BIG announcement for all my art-loving friends! Imagine Art Studio is re-imagined, re-energized, and returning with unique on-site children's art instruction this fall. Class size will be very limited. Stay tuned for more information about location, workshop offerings, and how to sign up your 6-10 year-old for a magical self-expression experience.

Tomorrow I'll be presenting a free program at the La Grange Public Library for children ages 5-6. We will be making WILD THING masks with scary-crazy features crafted from amazing recycled materials. Registration is filled for this program, but February classes (on Tuesday afternoons from 4-5:15, ages 6 and up) in my home studio still have openings. At Evanston Ethnic Art Festival today from 12:30-5:30 in the kids hands-on art tent. Making rainbow tie-dye friendship flags. Love to see you there!

Fish Banner workshop today at LaGrange Public Library for children ages k-2nd grade was a great success. Children first looked through piles of "under sea" books for inspiration, then created detailed drawings with Sharpie and oil pastel on muslin. Final step was resist-painting over fabulous fish images with watercolor.
