Friends, I have this little boy who became obsessed with playhouses at the beginning of the summer so when my best friend told me she was moving I had to at least ask if she was taking her playhouse. When she said I could have it, well, I had some ideas and I can turn anything into a project. We put our summer furniture projects aside and Steven and I went over to pick it up. Scroll through these photos to see what the three of us (yes three, my mom wished us luck and said she didn’t want to be outside in the Texas heat but when she saw how much fun we were having... she ran over with some cold drinks from Sonic and a blow up pool 😎) accomplished in three very hot days in July!

**And do not be alarmed by Steven’s facial expressions, he doesn’t always see my vision but he always loves the results. By now I consider that look he gives EVERY SINGLE project a sign of good luck!

I am so happy my friend’s well loved playhouse got a sweet update and it’s days of being loved will continue on in my backyard ❤️

Since our little Bonnie was born everything has gone all bunnies and Bonnie blue around here! 🐇💙

Now that naps are a regular thing, projects are too!! 🤗

When you have just one more project left in you and you finish with days to spare! The Fretwells are officially on maternity/paternity leave as we wait for baby Fretwell to arrive. Enjoy the photos, we will be back soon!! ❤️

Every now and then I'll surprise Steven when he gets home from work by having a piece cleaned up, completed and assembled because I love saying "Tadah!" like I wasn't actually up all night.

I'm definitely still trying to impress him 😁

We broke into our local fire station last night, I do believe we will be forgiven though.

And Steven just told me he loves the Cricut so I guess I'll have to teach him how to use it now 😂.

When your husband asks if you have a minute to help him with something and a week later you are still chugging right along.

We decided to try some new colors! This table is pale gray with an antique wax and I'm loving the navy chairs; it's the perfect amount of color 😍. This set looks so sharp together!!

Ombré for days. Steven custom mixed these shades of pink for our daughter when we decorated her room. I think that's why this is one of my all time favorite pieces, it was a labor of love. ❤️
