Hays County Youth Livestock Show The Hays County Livestock Show is an opportunity for 4-H and FFA members from across Hays County to exhibit their project work.

Hays County Livestock Show helps educate & grow our leaders of tomorrow through competitive Livestock skills, Home skills & Ag Mech Projects which teach them important life skills including responsibility, time management, good sportsmanship & hard work. This is also a time for community members and business leaders to come together to support these young people through the junior livestock auctio

n. During the 2020 Hays County Livestock Show, the auction generated over $907,000 for the youth of Hays County.

The 2026-2027 Queen's Court, Ambassador and Scholarship Entry Forms & Applications are updated and available on the HCLE website. All application packets are due Tuesday, September 29, 2026 by 4:30pm to the Extension Office. Please make sure you read the Rule Book Section 2, pages 17-25 for all rules and details about the leadership program and instructions on your application packets. TURKEY ORDERS FOR COUNTY AND MAJORS DUE JULY 1ST

Tag orders are due by July 1, 2026, and the cost is $4.75 per turkey poult. They can only be ordered in quantities of 25 and at most 75. These turkeys will be shown at county or any of the major shows. The birds will be picked up in November at the Hays County Extension Office.
