Delta Alpha Pi Iota Chapter

Three of Delta Alpha Pi members participated in the Hello My Name Is Story Telling event at KU on April 12th 2015. Each member did a fantastic job telling their stories. Each of them serve as role models to society while fighting the odds and sterotypes that are often aligned with having a disabilty. Tracy, Colin, and Sarah: GREAT JOB!

Come out to "Hello My Name Is" to see some of our DAP members talk about their personal experiences and stories with their disabilities. You wont want to miss it! Let an e-board member who is present there tonight know you made it to the event. Hope to see you there!

Tonight's end-of-semester social/meeting was a blast! Thought up some great ideas and events for Delta Alpha Pi. So, stay tuned! We all hope you have a happy holiday season this winter break!

Delta Alpha Pi has nominated Dr. Christopher Bloh for Professor of the Month (November)! For his hard work, dedication, and being an advocate for students with disabilities. He is making the world a more aDAPtable place.

Awareness table on November 20th. We need some volunteers. If you're interested, please reach out to one of the e-board members!

This Thursday, November 13th at 7:00pm, Allies is having a Equality Social in the SUB's Formal Dining Room. There will be snacks, music, and great opportunities to talk about social equality while also representing Delta Alpha Pi. If you attend, plan to dress semi-formal and to have a great time! Please, contact me or someone on the e-board if you attend. Your active participation will be counted for if you attend.
