KHS 20th High School Reunion Ends With Police Warning After Late-Night Skinny Dip
KOKOMO, IN: A 2006 Kokomo graduate attending her 20th high school reunion reportedly decided the evening needed one more activity after having a few too many drinks and going for a swim in the pond at the Elite Event Center.
Authorities say the woman, who had apparently reached the point in the evening where āyou only live onceā seemed like a reasonable argument, stripped down and entered the pond for an impromptu late-night skinny dip.
Several reunion attendees reportedly watched from a safe distance cackling, with at least one person asking whether this was covered under the original event itinerary.
Police were called to the scene and, after speaking with the woman, ultimately decided to let her off with a warning. Officers reportedly determined that the best course of action was to get her out of the pond and make sure she got home safely.
Her husband arrived shortly after to pick her up, bringing the 20-year reunion to what witnesses described as a memorable conclusion. Sources say the woman is expected to have some explaining to do when she wakes up and realizes that her reunion photos may not be the most embarrassing evidence from the evening.
