Clinton High School Band

We were excited to welcome the Lady Vol Brass Quintet for a special visit with the band! They performed Fanfare of “La Peri” by Paul Dukas, A Nightingale Sang in Berkeley Square arr. by Jack Gale, Killer Tango by Sonny Kompanek, and That’s a Plenty by Lew Pollack. They also shared insight into college band life and opportunities at the University of Tennessee.

As our final guests of the year, they made a lasting impression, and our students truly enjoyed their performance and were eager to talk to them more once they were done.

Graduation practice yesterday for the class of 2026!

On Friday, we had the opportunity to welcome back Isabella Rice c/o 2025 and her saxophone quartet The De Lune Quartet. We were thrilled to welcome Isabella back to perform and share her talents with our program.

The quartet performed Strange Humors by John Mackey and Polar Vortex by Chris Evan Hass.

Thank you to The De Lune Quartet and Isabella Rice for returning to invest in and inspire the next generation of musicians!

Last night 3 of our Jazzy Dragons performed in their last concert with the Knoxville Jazz Workshop!
