This Election did not go the way I hoped, but I am still grateful.

This journey has taught me so much about leadership, resilience, and the power of stepping up even when it is not easy. I am thankful for every person who supported me, believed in me, and took the time to encourage me along the way.

While this is not the outcome I wanted, it does not change my passion for serving others or making a difference. This is not the end. It is just part of the process.

I am proud of the effort, the growth, and the courage it took to run.

Primary 2026: School Board District 1 In the county’s only contested Democratic primary, a first-term incumbent faces a pair of challengers for a seat representing the school system’s most diverse district.
