🎉 I’m so excited to welcome Luci Choi, M.Ed., CALT, LDT to Pathways Dyslexia Center!

Luci is a Certified Academic Language Therapist and Licensed Dyslexia Therapist with more than 15 years of experience in elementary education, reading intervention, and dyslexia therapy. She completed her dyslexia therapist training through the Dyslexia Center of Austin and has additional training in BUILD, Jet, REWARDS, Reading By Design, and more.

I’m thrilled to have Luci joining Pathways and excited for the experience and expertise she brings to our students and families! 💛

✨ Luci currently has some oh-so-rare AFTER-SCHOOL openings for virtual dyslexia therapy!

With the school year just getting underway, this is a great time to put the right support in place and help your child start the year with targeted reading intervention.

What a gift Dolly was to the world. She was the absolute best kind of person who showed kindness, humility, and strength with her every word and action. There will never be another like her.

Thank you, Dolly, for everything you gave us. This is a tremendous loss for so many communities — including literacy advocacy. But the world is a better place because you were in it. May we live by your example for years to come.

I have to brag on this kid! In addition to being a competitive cheerleader after school, she completed her first year of Take Flight as a second grader. She works hard, always has the best attitude, and never complains. She has grown by leaps and bounds this year, and I couldn't be a prouder step-aunt to sweet Fay!

We are so proud of Madi and all of the hard work she has put in this year with Take Flight dyslexia therapy!

Through her hard work, perseverance, and consistent effort, Madi jumped three grade levels in reading and gained so much confidence in her skills this year. 🎉📚

Her mom shared: “We are so proud of Madi and her incredible progress this year, and so grateful to Ashley and the Take Flight program! Madi started fourth grade at a first grade reading level and has finished at a 4th grade reading level. Based on her testing at school, she tripled her stretch growth goal. We can’t be more pleased with her and the results we’ve seen from this program!”

Watching students grow in confidence and experience this kind of success is such a gift. We are incredibly proud of you, Madi, and all of the pathways you are creating for successful reading! 💚

🌟 Student Spotlight 🌟

This year, Ben has worked incredibly hard in Take Flight dyslexia therapy, showing perseverance, growth, and determination every step of the way.

Because of that hard work, Ben received the "Most Improved in Reading" award at school! 🎉📚

Moments like this are such a reminder that the right intervention, consistency, and a child’s determination can lead to amazing progress. We are incredibly proud of Ben and all of the effort behind this accomplishment.

The before and after results of dyslexia therapy are so significant that it can be captured by brain scan, but what it looks like in every day life for a child with dyslexia is this… picking up a book by choice for the first time, better test scores, less homework frustration and resistance, less anxiety, improved class performance, and perhaps most importantly of all, improved self confidence. It is my joy and honor to witness the immense growth and see firsthand how dyslexia therapy changes a child’s life!

I have the privilege of seeing the love, patience, advocacy, and encouragement you pour into your children every day. You see your child’s intelligence, gifts, and potential, and you never stop fighting for them.

Supporting a child with dyslexia or reading difficulties takes tremendous strength, persistence, and heart. Your dedication makes a lasting difference in your child’s life.

Today, we celebrate you — the moms and caregivers who love deeply, advocate fiercely, and believe wholeheartedly in their children.
