Welcome to Team Pat Gleason for ALS Support and Awareness! This page was developed for a few reasons. The first is to Honor one of the most special men in my life, my Dad! The second reason is to help bring awareness, education, and funding for a disease that is taking over his body, as well as the bodies of many others we know and many we do not know - ALS/Lou Gehrig's disease! This is a horrible

Ice, Bike, Walk, Fight ALS!

I would like to invite you to come and participate in our upcoming Ice Bucket Challenge, Bike Ride, Walk!

This event will take place on October 4th, at 2:00 pm at Lakeshore Park (near the new playground) in Knoxville.

This event will be in Honor of someone very special to all of us! Some call him dad, some call him dad-dad, some call him brother-in-law, and some call him friend! Whatever that may be, he holds a special place in our hearts and needs our support, prayers and love!

Please come out and help us Honor Pat Gleason who was diagnosed with ALS this past year.

We have some great leaders and family members to help us in this Ice Bucket Challenge, State Senator Becky Duncan Massey and Congressman Jimmy Duncan, as well as other elected officials, family members and friends. We would love to have as many people participate as possible in order to bring increased attention and support to this disease.

Please come out and support a great cause! You can choose to have a bucket of ice poured on you, cheer on the challenge, walk the track in honor of those that are fighting this disease, or ride in our bike ride after the Ice Bucket challenge down the Greenway. Please invite your friends and family, and share the details of this event with others!

If you can only be there in your thoughts and prayers we would greatly appreciate it! If you would like to donate to help to find a cure for this awful disease, please check out either of the two websites below!
