Ben’s family is our Archer Academy Family of the Month for June! ☀️

Our Adventure Classroom scientists are learning about the importance of protecting our skin from the sun! ☀️

Using construction paper people, glue, and paint brushes— they discovered that when the glue dried, it helped the paper keep its color— just like sunscreen helps protect our skin! The areas without glue faded over time, showing what can happen when skin is left unprotected in the sun.

This hands-on project was a fun way to see why applying sunscreen is so important.
