It's hard to use the "Goldilocks Rule," not too hot/cold, not too much or not to little, .....but Just Right. This is especially hard for parents whose children have learning or social struggles. Do be a support, but try not to be a "helicopter parent."

I have been struck by the increase in stress I see in students during the past 10 years. Many middle and high school students express to me their concerns about how much the have to accomplish and how busy their schedules are.
