In the book Think and Grow Rich by Napoloeon Hill, there’s a story called 3 feet from gold…
It tells about a man who was digging for gold on a piece of land he had purchased, gave up somewhere along the way, and sold the land to someone else…
The next owner of the land was able to find someone who could locate the gold…
And this new gold tracker discovered that the last person to dig on that land was a mere 3 FEET AWAY from the gold when he gave up…

According to new Gallup data, employee engagement increased in 2020 and most employers report productivity levels remained the same or were higher than before the pandemic.
But as time goes on, the workforce is becoming stressed. Parents with kids at home are struggling to get work done, people living alone are feeling increasingly isolated, and workers everywhere are exhausted and burned out.
The Gallup article in the comments below gives us three insights for developing employees during this time:
