There are so many ways to learn fun... games, interact with others, memorize, experiments try them all out and see which one works for you and which one helps your child feel like they are having fun learning. When learning becomes fun they stop arguing about doing it.

As you are going through the day with your friends and family and children make every moment a teachable moment. I just started to follow a show on YouTube called what would you do. This show takes different things happening and seeing how people around you respond. For example one I just watched was a waiter treating a deaf customer wrongly because he couldn't hear and seeing people around the deaf customer come to his defense was amazing. Some of those people had children with them, so they used it as a teachable moment for their children. Take those moments when you can and make them a teachable moment.

This spoke to my heart because of some of the things going on in my life right now. There are so many things in life that can bring you down in so many ways. You need to find that one thing, that one reason to keep you up. When you are going through a hard time find that one reason to hold on. The real thing is God loves you. He loves each one of us and He understands everything we are going through. He allows things to happen but God doesn't give us any more than what we can bear. When you look in the dictionary it defines a tutor as a person who gives individual, or small group instruction. I think that the purpose of tutoring should be added which is to help students help themselves. By using tutoring they can become independent learner and get to a point where they do not need tutoring.

A person receiving tutoring is called the tutee. If tutoring is conducted a right manner the it will be very effective. Tutoring should be developing individualized lessons for the tutee for where they are right at that moment. It should be taught the way they learn best. It should be self-paced and self-directed and increase the tutee's self-esteem and attitude toward the whole learning experience.
