I play a variety of private events and shows in the East Tennessee area. I started studying classical music at 4 years old and continue learning today. I studied Cello Performance at MTSU for three years under Dr. Christine Kim, and I have been teaching private cello lessons for over 8 years now. Please contact me to learn more about how private lessons work in my studio. Also, please reach out to let me know how cello music could make your day more special if you have an event coming up!

Happy International Cello Day 🀍

I began studying classical music at 4 years old on the violin, and switched to cello when I was 8. It was truly love at first sit. From the very beginning, the cello felt natural β€” like an extension of my own inner monologue β€” a place where I could fully express my emotions in a way words never quite could.

The cello felt like the right fit - intuitive, expressive, and deeply personal. It quickly became the way I best understood myself and the world around me.

There have been many eras of cello playing in my life, along with breaks and setbacks, but that deep connection has never left me. The cello has always felt like home.

I’m endlessly grateful for music education and for the mentors who shaped me along the way.
Studying at the collegiate level with Dr. Kim and Dr. transformed not only how I play, but how I listen and communicate. Through them, I learned to truly speak through my instrument β€” to paint with as many colors as I could imagine.
Today, I celebrate the cello, the teachers who give us language through sound, and the lifelong love that music makes possible. 🎻

A little holiday magic ✨
Two cellos, one timeless melody, and a quiet moment with Greensleeves.

When your coworkers ask for a little holiday music and you just... bring the cello. πŸŽ„ A Up on the Housetop, Appalachian fiddle style-shaped by these hills and the place I call home.
This is what I love most: music that feels lived-in, local, and warm.
Welcome to Appalachian StringWorks. ✨ 🎻
