I teach woodworking because I have muscular dystrophy.

Building animals builds confidence and fosters creativity. I love sharing this project with kids and seeing what they create. 😄

Your kids or grandchildren can take a FREE online woodworking class. It's a class showing how to use hand tools. They don't need the actual tools to take the class. You get a credit of $20 to use on Outschool by using my teacher link. You don't have to take my $20 class. It can be any of the thousands of fun, unique classes on Outschool. But I'd appreciate my class being taken. I love sharing woodworking with others!

When woodworking class is on Halloween…

My first fall woodworking class at Kimball Jenkins was fabulous! The homeschool students were respectful, polite, and eager to learn. And they were able to identify these trees when we discussed soft wood and hard wood. 😀

When I saw this leaf standing straight up in the grass, it made me giggle. Arms and legs outstretched, laced with frost, exclaiming, “Winter is coming!”

I’m excited to offer woodworking classes for children in person again! I’ve mainly been teaching them online the past few years. We’ll start building at Kimball Jenkins in Concord, NH the week of October 21. There are a couple of openings in my Tuesday and Thursday classes for ages 7-12. Please share!
