Your kids or grandchildren can take a FREE online woodworking class. It's a class showing how to use hand tools. They don't need the actual tools to take the class. You get a credit of $20 to use on Outschool by using my teacher link. You don't have to take my $20 class. It can be any of the thousands of fun, unique classes on Outschool. But I'd appreciate my class being taken. I love sharing woodworking with others!

My first fall woodworking class at Kimball Jenkins was fabulous! The homeschool students were respectful, polite, and eager to learn. And they were able to identify these trees when we discussed soft wood and hard wood. 😀

I’m excited to offer woodworking classes for children in person again! I’ve mainly been teaching them online the past few years. We’ll start building at Kimball Jenkins in Concord, NH the week of October 21. There are a couple of openings in my Tuesday and Thursday classes for ages 7-12. Please share!

You can purchase lattice in the moulding department of lumber stores. It usually comes in a minimum of six-foot lengths. Or you can buy a bundle of paint stirring sticks. Be sure to get the thicker, sturdier ones used to stir big buckets of paint. They are usually about 21" long. The small ones are....
