Hey y’all! I’m a senior majoring in LWB with Hispanic Studies, and minoring in Hospitality and Tourism Management. Besides being President of LWBSA, I am also President of the UTK Ski and Snowboard Club! Some fun facts about me are that I have 3 citizenships (South Africa, United Kingdom, and USA), and I have traveled to 35 countries!

Meet our Vice President, Ava!

My name is Ava Callis and I am a junior here at UTK, studying LWB with a concentration in International business and German! I am also minoring in Sustainability. This program has given me so many opportunities to meet new people, be apart of such a great community, and experience so many new things! Some fun facts about me: I love my little cat, Panda, I am super passionate about bettering the environment, and I play waterpolo!

My name is Emma Hartsook and I’m a sophomore at UTK studying LWB with a concentration in Hispanic Studies! I’ve always wanted to travel and learn another language, and this program has given me the perfect opportunity to reach these goals and create new ones. Some fun facts about me are that I have traveled to four countries, I love going to concerts, and I play the guitar!

My name is Fleming Mabry, I am a sophomore here at UTK and I’m an LWB major (Hispanic Studies and International Business), I’d like to go into linguistics with the FBI and I chose this degree because of the oppurtunities and rise in the use of Spanish around the world and the ability to communicate with more people!
