Ribbon cutting today! But having some internet issues, so I’ll post some pics and videos later tonight or tomorrow. Better get a box of tissues handy because it was very emotional. Sorry to keep everyone in suspense. For now, enjoy this South African version of “Extreme Makeover: Home Edition”. Hey truck driver...move that truck!

Day #7 of my Eagle project...finishing the murals, changing locks, kitchen detail, curtains going up, and painting a Snoopy “Beagle Scout” on the outside wall to leave a Scouting footprint on the school. Tomorrow morning we cleanup, haul in the donations from America, and get ready for the ribbon cutting!

Day #6 (Saturday)...ceiling and insulation is finished, completed pathways, cleaned up garden, kitchen cupboards installed, painted windows, started washing fascia boards, began drawing murals, and installed a clothes line. We can see the finish line!

Day #5 of my Boy Scout Eagle project...more stone work, ceiling tiles, insulation, and the swing set goes into operation. Still more work to do...we will be working through the weekend. Eagle Project Here is another video clip of the hand tree that we made yesterday with the village children of Mafakathini. Thanks so much for answering the request yesterday for final donations. WE ARE ONLY $865 AWAY from completely funding this project. We are headed out again early this morning to do more work!
