NATIONAL CORN GROWERS ASSOCIATION, SCHOLARSHIP
The National Corn Growers Association (NCGA) is again offering its William C. Berg Academic Excellence in Agriculture Scholarship thanks to the sponsorship of BASF Corporation. Five (5) one thousand dollar ($1,000) scholarships are available to students entering at least their second undergraduate year (or any year of graduate school) pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in an agricultural, agribusiness, or an ag vocation field. Applicants or a parent/guardian must be a member of the NCGA. Funds are for the 2014-2015 school year. Past scholarship winners and employees and the families of employees of any division of BASF or their subsidiaries or the NCGA are not eligible for the scholarship. Applications must be postmarked on or before December 12, 2014.

WESTCOTT SCHOLARSHIP
The Tennessee Viticultural Oenological Society is now accepting applications for the Westcott Scholarships. The scholarship is awarded annually to aspiring students (juniors, seniors and grad students) that have enrolled in the College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources majoring in Plant and Soil Sciences, Food Science and Technology, or Ag. Economics. The Tennessee Viticultural Oenological Society focuses on conducting and promoting the study of the art and science of grape growing (viticulture) and winemaking (oenology), disseminating information concerning these subjects to interested parties and fostering conditions which will encourage grape growing and the wine industry in the State of Tennessee.
