6th grade has been having tons of fun this week dressing up for Red Ribbon Week!

Peer pressure can be an overwhelming experience for students, but it doesn't have to dictate their choices!

🌟 In Mrs. Maples' class, we’re dedicated to transforming these challenges into creative opportunities. Through raps, songs, and poems, students are learning to channel their feelings and experiences into powerful expressions of self. 🎶✨

6th grade got to participate in Career Day today!

Our Media Team is learning new things every day…
•How to use iMovie
•Adding transitions
•Blading footage
•Making intros and adding credits
•How to use a computer mouse
•How many times they have to hear the same people saying the same things over and over until they get it just right
•All the grammar and punctuation

But really, we are so proud of the amazing things these kids are doing!

On this Patriot Day, we remember the bravery and resilience shown on 9/11. 6th grade is taking a moment to celebrate our nation and the strength of the American spirit.
