It’s indescribable how much joy it brings me to know folks enjoy my work. 💚

Without missing a beat, I started the new year by taking advantage of this incredible weather and harvesting pine for smoke cleansing wands. I try to harvest and make evergreen wands in the winter, so my time is free to focus on seasonal herbs in the summer.

My history as an urban farmer has led to a life ruled by the seasons. Spring & summer tend to be marked by tending the garden, harvesting, and making. Summer and fall are a blurry of markets, making, and harvesting. In the winter I take time to slow down, plan for the year, focus on my art for no purpose other than the joy of it, and sewing. With that being said, I’ll be taking January off from markets to bust out the sewing machine and work on some projects for my family.
