Good evening parents and students.
Tomorrow, Friday August 21st, our kindergarten students will join our car rider drop off and dismissal lines. Please be patient as our youngest Cubs get into the routine of car rider drop off and dismissal. 3rd-5th grade parents, please do not arrive before 3:15. The early arrivals have already backed up our car rider line and once kindergarten families join the line, they will not be able to make it up the hill to pick up their child on time.
Kindergarten families, please ensure your child is ready to exit the car in the morning by having their backpack and any other items ready to get out of the vehicle. There are parking spaces available should you need to stop before pulling all the way around. Parents are not to walk students up to the building. In the afternoon, please do not exit your vehicle. Safety patrol and staff will be outside helping your child to the appropriate car. All car riders should be picked up no later than 3:35.
Tuesday, August 25th will be fall picture day at Dandridge Elementary for all students and staff in the building. These are the pictures that go into the yearbook this spring so everyone will have their pictures taken on Tuesday. Parents also have the opportunity to purchase their child’s pictures from our photographer. Pictures may be purchased using cash, a check made out to SimplePix, or online using the information on the picture flyer. Picture flyers will be sent home this Friday, August 21st.
We appreciate all our parents, teachers and staff for all they do to make Dandridge Elementary a welcoming place for students to learn and experience success each day.
