WELCOME TO THE FAMILY, NEEK + ANG! 💙

AEBL Girlz is excited to welcome Dominic “Neek” James and Angela “Ang” James to the AEBL family — and officially announce Coach Ang as our new Jr. EYBL Middle School Director!

Neek is a 10-year international pro and Marquette Hall of Famer, while Angela (Angela Phillips) was a 4-year Division I starting point guard at Kentucky and Indiana State. Together, they’ve spent the last 8 years developing 1,000+ players, built nationally recognized grassroots teams with The Tenn Disciples, and helped lead a high school program to back-to-back state appearances.

But their basketball résumés are only part of why this feels like such a great fit.

Their love for Jesus, their love for young people, and their belief that basketball is bigger than what happens on the court align with the heart of AEBL. As founders of Jesus Is Bigger Than Basketball, they’ve made it their mission to use the game to pour into players as athletes and as people.

We’re excited for our middle school girls to learn from them, be challenged by them and, most importantly, be poured into by them.
